Wow, that was easy!
Irene Mackinaw Island - 1952
That’s what my client, Irene, told me after we finished her slide transfer project.
She had “quite a few” slides of her young family on their many camping excursions. Her husband, Tom, who passed several years ago, was the main photographer on these vacations.
Tom captured the above slide of Irene on a trip they took to Mackinaw Island.
Irene kept the slides in a shoebox for over 50 years, not knowing what to do with them. The slide carousels were gone, along with the slide projector!
She was at a loss.
Irene just wanted to be able to enjoy the memories of family trips to the beach and the mountains without holding up a little square slide to a bright window. She wanted to share them with her children and grandchildren. She wanted to relive her fun family memories with them.
I’ll bet you can relate.
I hear comments like …
“I don’t know what to do with the stacks of photo albums and old family photos.”
“It’s so overwhelming, I don’t even know where to start!”
“I want to watch our old home movies, but they’re trapped in aging VHS tapes, and I don’t even own a VCR anymore!”
It’s exhausting to even think about!
You don’t have to tackle this project alone, I’m here to help.
As for Irene, she is thrilled to finally have all her slides transferred and on her computer to view anytime. We even found a few old home movie DVD’s in that shoebox that I was able to transfer so she could have those on her computer, too. (Because, again, no DVD player.) Now she has immediate access to the vacation slides AND the home movie of her daughter’s 9th birthday party!
So, if you’re ready to tackle that stack of photo albums or shoebox full of slides or find out what’s on those VHS tapes, I’m here and I’m ready when you are!
